· Baren foundation for project hope and poverty alleviation .Baren foundation for project hope and poverty alleviation is established in 2000. The fund is not only from the 2.5 percent of the turnover ofBaren in China mainland but also the donation from Baren abroad companies. Now Baren has poverty alleviated 329 persons and supported 422 persons in school. Baren foundation is planning to build 8 hope schools before the year of 2010
· Launch the activity of “donate clothes, warm up the new year” responding the vocation of the government. In December 2005, the employees ofBaren China have donated total RMB36700 and clothes 444 pieces responding the vocation of the government and sent the warm solicitude to the people of the western depressed area.

The sad news of the death of 300 thousand of people in South-east Asia caused by tsunami follows the Christmas. It astounds people all over the world.
Facing the most disastrous natural disaster since hundreds of years, the headquarters of Baren appoints in 3 days after the tsunami that all the Baren companies must donate at our most. And convoke the videophone meetings of the CEOs of the companies for times discussing the tactic of donation.
Till Jan 20th, 2006, Baren has donated total US$10500 and clothes 6327 pieces through the Hong Kong Red Cross and the assistance organization in China.“Tsunami is ruthless but the society is merciful” is the aspirations of Baren.
